Windbreak glass systems are innovative solutions developed to protect open-air spaces from wind, cold weather and external factors. Offering easy use with a push-to-open mechanism, these systems stand out with their telescopic profile structure and sliding working principle. The system consists of 8 mm tempered fixed glass in the lower section and 5 mm tempered movable glass in the upper section. In the closed position, the upper glass is hidden inside the telescopic side profiles of the lower glass, providing an aesthetic appearance. The system, which is activated with the push-to-open movement, allows the upper glass to slide upwards with the driving force of the pistons and is fixed with the braking mechanism. Working Principle of Wind Breaker Glass Systems
The profiles on the right and left sides of the upper glass are placed inside the wide telescopic profiles of the lower glass. When the upper glass is lightly pressed, the push-to-open mechanism is activated, the lock is released and the glass moves upwards thanks to the pistons. This system provides a comfortable experience by preventing customers from being affected by wind and cold weather, especially in areas such as cafes, restaurants or terraces.
